Liriodendron tulipifera or Tulip Poplar. Native to Georgia.
Has a big yellow tulip shaped bloom in late spring. Fast growing tree gets 3-40ft in 20years.
Great for wildlife deer and rabbits eat youg leaves, hummingbirds get nectar and the seeds are eaten by many birds.
