Clethra alnifolia or Sweet Pepperbush or Summersweet  is native to Georgia. Grows 3-8ft tall and 4-6ft wide.

Long slender white fragrant blooms in mid to late summer. Bright yellow leaves in fall.

Attracts birds for seeds , bees  and butterflies for nectar.
