Phaseolus lunatus

• Medium size lima beans with speckles of purple. Pods are 3 ½" long and contain 3-4 beans. Popular variety in the South. Plant sets pods even under hot summer weather conditions.
• Plant 1 inch deep in rich, well-drained soil during late spring, when danger of frost is past and ground is warm. Space 4-8 inches apart.
• Water during hot, dry spells.
• Harvest young beans for tender texture, pick frequently for highest yield.
