Phaseolus lunatus

• Plant 1 inch deep in rich, well-drained soil during late spring, when danger of frost is past and ground is warm. Space 4-8 inches apart.
• Water during hot, dry spells.
• Harvest young beans for tender texture, pick frequently for highest yield.
•  The plant produces yields of 4" long bean pods which contain 3-4 flavorful seeds. Easy to shell. Excellent for canning and freezing.
