The Eastern Redbud has rosy pink flowers that appear in April before its leaves appear. Heart-shaped leaves change from dark green, to yellow in the fall. The Eastern Redbud forms a spreading, graceful crown and grows in full sun or light shade, but prefers partial shade in windy, dry areas. Deciduous.

Forest Pansy is a beautiful landscape tree valued for its brilliant scarlet-purple color to new foliage, maturing to maroon. Rosy-pink flowers appear all over the tree in spring, just before the leaves emerge. Deciduous.

In the fall the foliage changes to bright yellow. Deciduous.

Critically endangered, this ancient tree was thought to be extinct and is one of the sole survivors of three species of Metasequoia Redwoods that lived before or during the Paleocene & Eocene era.  Dawn Redwood are well-suited to modern, ornamental landscape plantings. They are fast growing, like full sun, and are easily transplanted. Prefers moist, deep, well-drained soils, but will tolerate dry soils. Deciduous Conifer.

White, feathery flowers cover bare, gray branches. Blooms in late spring for roughly about 2 weeks, after most other flowering trees & shrubs have finished flowering. Grancy Greybeard has a delicate, sweet, almost lilac scent, especially in the evening. Fall foliage is bright yellow; deciduous.
